love
n.
1. A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
The good old dictionary description of the one emotion many of us cannot describe, many of us have different views of its meaning and think differently of what love truely is.
What do you view love as? Is it even possible to truely experience "love"? Or is it just a term used to describe an intense liking? Or is that just what it is?
I was listening to a song today, like many other songs it talks of love and what it is, although for some reason it and some other influences gave way to me writing this.
Ceoma Feat. The Larx - Love Is More
Your love is my home
But i'm only one
One of so many hearts undone
No love isint cold
Love is an anchor
Holding you down
When lonely...
Love is only a word
The meaning unheard
Lives in the truth of all you feel
And love will revive
If love dosent live inside you
Just let it find you...
Love is more than just a memory
Love is more than just a song
If even heaven not might have it here
Love is more
Love is more...
Love is thought from alone
And closer than the end
Love is the truth that knows no fear
And love is alive
Its turning inside you
Just let it find you
Love is more than just a memory
Love is more than just a song
If even heaven not might have it here
Love is more
Love is more...
I cant help but enjoy the words to this song for I find it true, love is more..., more what? More than just a feeling? An emotion? When you think about it, what really is love? I have believed to experience love twice in my life now, both times it was nothing more than an intense liking. Love, should that be an emotion, a feeling, that lasts a lifetime? Or something more short-term? Whatever love is many feel they experience every day, and maybe there are those few who feel what love truely is and not what we believe it to be today.
Feel free to share your views/answers/opinions to my myriad assortment of questions, hope you all have a good night/day/week/etc. :)
